- GOTS Certified – Made with Organic: This certification is for textiles that contain at least 70% organic fibers. While the product is not fully organic, it still meets the environmental and social criteria required for GOTS certification
- Application: The first step in obtaining GOTS certification is to apply to an approved certification body. The application should include details about the products, the production process, and the supply chain.
- Audit and Inspection: A certification body will conduct a thorough audit of the facility and supply chain to ensure that the business complies with GOTS criteria. This may involve onsite inspections, reviewing documentation, and sampling products for testing.
